Massage Therapy

Helena Reinken is a certified Massage Therapist specializing in a variety of therapeutic modalities. She regards each patient as a whole, rather than just looking at one area of concern. Helena believes in working with, rather than fighting against the body. During each session she may use one or all of the techniques listed below depending on what your body needs. Schedule an appointment online or call today to start your healing journey.

With Myofascial Release (MFR), clients claim to feel a reduction in pain as well as being relaxed after each session. Helena tailors each session to work on your specific goals and needs. Just a few sessions can make an enormous difference to your health.

The fluid in the lymphatic system helps remove waste and toxins from the bodily tissues. Lymph Drainage is a technique with an extremely light touch that allows manipulation to your lymph system, improves your immune response, and reduces excess fluid (i.e inflammation) in your body.

Swedish Massage is a modality most people are familiar with. You generally come across this technique in spa settings for relaxation massages. This technique allows your body and mind to feel free and clear of all worries and stressors that life sometimes places upon us. Helena most often uses this technique to start your massage so she can find areas that need more focus and to warm up your muscles.

Trigger Point Therapy, also known as Shiatsu, is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow and helps activate the natural healing processes in each patient’s body as well as to restore their physical and emotional well-being.

Insurance Coverage:

Some insurance policies cover massage for medical reasons but coverage is not a guarantee.
